Climbing into the Sun - Episode 1

The first nine minutes of me reading “Climbing into the Sun”, the longest story in my currently unpublished manuscript of short fiction, Airplanes and Bad Things Happening to Women. I’ll try to record one episode each week until it’s done. There will probably be about ten episodes total.

Climbing into the Sun is a black comedy that takes place on Midway Atoll during the Second World War, and it follows the misadventures of Simon, a clerk, and Marie, a nurse, at Naval Air Station Midway. Contains voyeuristic airplanes, drug-addicted nurses, and a new take on the dichotomy between sex and violence.
